The Paralympic Games were officially opened at the Olympic Stadium in the capital of Japan. Wheelchair fencers will take part in the competition from tomorrow. The battles will start at 5:30 by Georgian time. Irma Khetsuriani will compete in the B category in sabre, in the group stage Irma will compete with: German Sylvi Tauber, Italian Rossana Pasquino, Thai Saysunee Jana , Chinese Rong Xiao and American Terry Hayes. Nina Tibilashvili’s rivals in the A category, sabre , in the group stage will be: Russian Olympic Committee member Sycheva Evgeniya, Canadian Sylvie Morel, Polish Kinga Drozdz , Chinese GU Haiyan. We would like to remind you that Tatia Aptsiauri, the Georgian referee of FIE, is among the judges of the competition.
