On December 6, a reporting and election meeting of the Georgian Fencing Federation was held. Due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country, the congress was held through the online program ZOOM. 70 out of 83 delegates took part in the congress. First, the delegates paid tribute to the memory of the fencers who died this year. The GFF President informed the delegates that the title of Honored Sports Workers of Georgia was awarded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia to: Giorgi Lomadze, Zurab Jagashvili and Soso Kapianidze. According to the agenda, GFF President Merab Bazadze presented a report for the last two years. Of the minor changes made to the GFF charter, the change of board members should be noted: the GFF board will have 13 members instead of 19. At the end of the congress, the president, board members, honorary president, personal adviser to the president, and honorary members were elected. According to the decision of the delegates of the congress, Merab Bazadze will head the Georgian Fencing Federation for the next four years. Secretary General - Nino Jerenashvili, Vice-Presidents: Rostom Abashidze, Tatia Aptsiauri, Varlam Jashi and Lali Moroshkina. Honorary President: Yuri Osipov, Personal Advisor to the President: Archil Gogelia, Honorary Members: Ludwig Gaganidze, Guram Kostava and Nikoloz Andriadze. The Fencing Federation of Georgia will consist of 13 members: Merab Bazadze, Nino Jerenashvili, Tatia Aptsiauri, Rostom Abashidze, Varlam Jashi, Zurab Jagashvili, Giorgi Kepuladze, David Arveladze, Sergi Khatiashvili, Marina Londaridze, Irine Skhirtladze , Malkhaz Dzneladze and Lali Moroshkina.
